What's for dinner? Broccoli Cheese Soup #recipe

I try really hard to stay off of Pinterest because let's face it, it's a massive time suck. When I logged on this morning (when I should have been writing), I noticed that my top two searches were Joe Manganiello and broccoli cheese soup. That really pretty much sums it up. :-)

I have no less than eight broccoli cheese soup recipes pinned. (Joe has his own entire board.) I don't know that I've ever actually made any of these recipes, so I'm going on a quest to find the best broccoli cheese soup recipe I can. And this is the one I'm making tonight.

Now, I will say that I know some people are in the camp of people who don't think Velveeta cheese is real cheese. I'm in the camp that says, "Who cares? It still tastes good." So what's for dinner tonight? This!

  • 1 bag Frozen Cut Broccoli {16 oz.}, slightly thawed

  • 1 White Onion, chopped

  • 4 tbsp. Butter

  • 1 can Evaporated Milk {12 oz.}

  • 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup {10.5 oz.}

  • 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Celery Soup {10.5 oz.}

  • 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup {10.5 oz.}

  • 1 pound Velveeta Cheese, cubed

  • ¼ tsp. Pepper

  • Spray Crockpot with Pam Cooking Spray

  • Saute chopped Onion in Butter, then transfer to large bowl.

  • Combine sauteed onions with all other ingredients in large bowl, and stir well.

  • Transfer ingredients into sprayed Crockpot, then cover with lid.

  • Cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or LOW for 4 hours. ENJOY!
